What is Screening?

The recovery program of the Mission Life is divided into three stages: screening, recovery and reintegration. After leaving the streets, the former beggars are brought to the Screening Center to receive primary care in all areas necessary for your physical healing, psychological and social. In the screening centers of the Mission Life, former beggars have their first contact with the possibility of a life off the streets.

The ex-homeless people come to these centers through the contacts of the program Soup, Soap and Salvation or referred by churches and partner institutions. During the first 60 days running occupational therapy intended to solidify and join the whole recovery process. After this time, are referred to the Recovery Center Beggars.

The Life Mission has three sorting centers in full operation in the cities of Annapolis / GO, Sobradinho / DF and Uberlândia / MG and two-phase deployment: Camaçari / BA and Governador Valadares / MG.
